Well, my dear friend, I dont trust the US postal service with anything as important as your porta-potti, so I drove to the nearest UPS store and  everything went just fine until the nice man said, " I need the phone number where you are shipping this to.  It s a federal regulation for everything sent out of the country."   My face must have fallen a mile so he kindly said if I didnt have the number with me, we could do all the other steps and I could leave the box there and when I got your phone number, I could phone it to them rather than drive all the way back there and get in line, etc etc.
 
 SO--please e-amil me your home phone number and  then they say once they ship it, it will reach you in 3 to 10 business days.[]

Hmmm, UPS, hmmm, is that a courier company ? I think so, because Canada Post is going on a strike within 4 days so it will still arrive, and I hope UPS won t charge me an arm and a leg on brokerage fees [8D] I shall report the outcome

Birol--good grief, what are " brokerage fees" ?  Dont tell me the Canadian Guv ment has invented  some new way of soaking people for more taxes!!!!  Yes, UPS runs no matter how many civil (or uncivil) servants are  on strike and I told the man mark hugely on the box GIFT as it is a present for a dear old family friend who is ppractically a relative and we dont want them to have to pay any fees and he assured me he would see that it is plainly marked GIFT.  when I call him tomorrow, I will ask him if there are supposed to be any feees on  the receiving end.  HE D BETTER SAY NO!
 
 No beer or ice cream is necessary--just enjoy camping with those great kids and keep on dreaming of a  popup.  And when your dreams come true, all of us will rejoice with you and THAT is payment enough (and it aint THAT much trouble to send something via UPS.)  Looking forward to learning of its arrival, Elisa

 Birol, I called the guy early this AM with your phone number and also asked him if he REALLY marked the outer carton they packed it in as GIFT.  He PROMISED me he did and said it would go out today!   According to UPS, there is not su[posed to be any kind of fee on  delivery to you, so if there is, please document it and send to me and I will go and breathe fire on them!![:@]  (And they will be very sorry[&:])

I sure will let you know if I have to pay anything. Give them hell !!!!! I will gladly pay, that is not the problem, but if they said no brokerage fees and still charge, they deserve the worst you can give them !
