I can t get my Dometic propane to light. AC and DC power both work, propane goig to fridge, all other propane (water heater, stove, furnace all working) Any suggestions?

Tom SolkaSoometimes its really hard to tell if it lit, I have had to lit it and comeback in about 30 minutes and see if there is any heat coming from the back of the fridge.

 Tom SolkaTom,
The propane fridge on my Jayco is finicky.  I spent about an hour one night trying to light it so that it would be cold the next day when I placed it on dc.  I had to take both of the switches to the off then place the one switch selecting ac/dc/propane to propane then the other switch to the high position.  Then depress the light button about 20 times & low & behold the darn thing lighted [:D].

Tom SolkaHere s where to download manuals for your fridge: http://www.bryantrv.com/docs.html

Tom SolkaDo you get any propane to the fridge?

CAPEd CODger

Tom SolkaYou may have spider webs or some other debris blocking the tube orifice. If you are inclined to do some dis-assembly/re-assembly, take out the burner tube and orifice and clean them up.
That should take care of your problem.

Tom SolkaHave you tried running the stove first?  It can take what seems like forever to get propane to the fridge.  It usually takes a couple of shots to get ours going.  I have found that if I wait a few seconds before trying the ignitor it lights the pilot easier.

Tom SolkaI was going to recommend lighting the stove first and checking for spider nest in the burner.
