RE: NASCAR Fans! Interested in a little game/contest??

Just wondered if any of the NASCAR fans (or anyone else for that matter) would be interested in trying a little game/contest that I post on a NASCAR message forum.

I call it the " Five & Five Contest" . Each week around Wednesday, I post the contest and each person that wants to play posts a response picking the drivers that they think will be the top 5 qualifiers and top 5 finishers in that weekend s Winston Cup race. I usually post a bonus question also that s worth additional points.

You score points based on how well your picks start and finish. The high scorer each week is the weekly winner. In addition, I keep a running total of the points so that there will be a " Season Champion" at the end of the season.

If some of you would be interested in playing, I ll be glad to post the contest (and the complete rules) here. It s just a fun thing, but I always get excited when I have a high score! (Of course, I m easily amused! [

So, what do you win, you ask? Well, the weekly winner wins bragging and gloating rights for a whole week! [

] As for the season champion, I think I can come up with an actual prize for that. Nothing major--probably something like a hat or T-shirt of your favorite driver (or a PUT hat or T-shirt if available and you prefer).

labontefanSounds fun....count me in. My favorite is 88, the gentleman of NASCAR, Dale Jarrett. He finally got a good day in last week.
