I am going to the fair tomorrow and will be getting a sign for our popup. I have not found any real good graphics of a popup. Can anyone either email me or send me to someplace that has a graphic or two of a popup?

 oldmooseHi Moose!

Did you check with Scott?  IIRC, I thought you and he had exchanged pop up graphics when you had made the signs for our rallies?

We saw some really cute " woodsy/cabiny"  signs when we were at the fair--lots of things with mooses on them.  Of course, we thought of you and Paula! [:D]

oldmooseIt s kind of scary when we see " Moose things."  We have a finite amount of room. The other camping group has nicknamed us " M.O.A.P.U.-MOTHER OF ALL POPUPS. We want to get  a sihn made and Paula wanted something closer to what it really looks like. We ll see what shakes out.

I m ready for that roasted corn, polish dog, teryaki stick, corn dog and other wonderful coloric items.

oldmooseI was thinking more along the lines of eggroll on a stick, deep-fried zucchini, battered potatoes, roasted corn, fish and chips or falafel or polish sausage, and some beer to wash it all down.  When we went the day the fair opened, we introduced Griffin to cotton candy for the first time ever, so I m sure we ll have to have some more of that too! Boy, I hate when that happens!! [;)]

oldmooseAnd after the beer there s trip tip sandwiches, fried chicken, homemade tamales and calmari. Then a funnel cake to eat on the train home.

Camping Coxes

oldmooseOn the same wavelength (I think), when we were camping over vacation I told my husband that PUT needs to put out a small yard sign, I think the right term for them is garden sign, for us to put at the end of our campsites.  When our pop-up is popped up, the sticker is obscured by the bunks.  As we walked around the CG, I checked the pop-ups I  passed for sign of a PUT sticker.  If there was a garden sign that had a hanging nylon sign, you could post it in the ground at the front of your site and everyone could see it -- and inquire about it, thus spreading the word about the website.

Just another of my hair-brained thoughts.

oldmooseI have a CAMPING SIGNS link on our website.  It s from the same person who made the wooden sign posted in one of the posts above and he also made ours.
