RE: QUICK! Need Info onRay Roberts Lake State Park, TX

 Just got word that my sister is bad sick in Denton so we re heading out Tuesday morning for Ray Roberts Lake State Park. Will also be visiting friends in Aubrey.  Anyone familiar with the Park?   Am wondering which unit, Johnson or Isle du Bois, would be best to stay in - not so much for distance but for better facilities, etc.  Need any info you can share right away as the trip just came up and we are fixin  to hit the road.

 Isle du Bois Unit
 Park reminds me a lot of Cedar Hill State Park as far as layout less the thuggy people.  Great beach, large variety of sites (some long, short, wide, doubles, etc).
 
 Short drive up I35 from DFW area (took about an hour or so).

Made the trip to Ray Roberts Lake SP.  Sister s sickness was not as serious as she imagined but enjoyed seeing her as well as old friends.  Park was all it was said to be but with temperatures in the 105-110 range we cut our stay to two nights and headed home.  Would highly recommend the park - only not in August!  Some photos posted  [link=http://f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/bc/wayfarer_photo1/lst?.dir=/5.+Ray+Roberts+Lake+State+Park&.src=ph&.order=&.view=t&.done=http%3a//f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/]here[/link].
