for a change when I didn t think I couldn t take any more. Lori is doing much better, and hopes to be back at work soon. Doc did another x-ray when she was complaining about her leg/hip hurting the other day...and says she s got arthritis (may not sound like good news...but after he gave her a pill..the pain was gone). He also said they finally got her blood levels right. If it wasn t for the old quack..she probabally would ve been back to work months ago. Still no news from the lawyer about that lawsuit. Got a letter from my old work benefits center which stated the old company paid for Cobra for a while...means we have health insurance till June of 2004 (not a typo) at no cost to us cept copays (whew). Also...because of some stuff involving DS, exwife, and the idiot stepfather which I cann t go into (but will say the cops are now looking for them (not DS..he s with us)), we have a lawyer that is gonna take our case..and handle the permanant protective order (now hanve a temp one) for DS..and is going to do the change of custody on the divorce for us and get us court orderred child support from the ex. all for free. Fortunately...after the detective interviewed DS..she said his interview was " matter of fact" , and he s doing real well considering. We think we got things stopped before it got extremely bad, and he realizes none of the " crap" was his fault. Thanks for all your support...and maybe this year is going to look up. I know we cann t wait till the march MAP-PUC camping trip at Hillsdale...we def need a get-a-way.

rednekrubbrduckIan, glad things are finally looking up for you and Lori and Logan. 02 brought you some bad stuff, but you did get a nice new wife out of it. Maybe 03 will bring all of you much better times all the way around. I sure hope so!

rednekrubbrduckThanks Ab...and everyone. It s been pretty stressfull around here. AB..I ll let you know. The idiot and egg donor are on the run. He s looking at at least 20 years for just what he did to DS (at least we got him out of there before the extremely bad stuff happenned), and he s on probation, and missed his court date. The egg donor is calling now to " find out what s going on" . She s looking at some charges for coverring for the idiot. She claims she s not with him..but she stated that she was at her inlaws house...hmmm. If there was ever a contest for worst ex-wives..mine would probabally take first prize.

Yeah..every once in a while he says he misses his mommie. Don t know how to explain to him that she didn t look out for him, and let things happen..then coverred it up.
We may have jumped the gun on the insurance/cobra thing. Got another letter in the mail yesterday that they changed the insurance...but not the health part..just the vision...keeping fingers crossed on the health insurance part.

New camper? Are you guys giving up on the restoration project?

Yep, I think we re giving up. We know we have to get a new canvas and we hate to shell out that much on a camper that is really too small for us. We ll find out Tues. but we looked at a Coleman Laramie at the RV show and they had a great deal plus lots of freebies. Keep your fingers crossed.
