brainpauseMaybe, I m just being too sensitive, but after reading his post several times and thinking about it; for someone who wants to sell his PU, I definitely would not be interested any longer.

OR -- was it just the way I worded it, I felt I was just trying to tell him that he was taken for paying those prices, not doubting that he did pay that much.

Jeffrey

brainpauseHe obviously knows nothing about ebay selling
But $1500 for something that s in good shape might not be bad who knows until they see it. I admit he didn t know how to post pictures, or work the bidding.

But, If he went to a dealer to have new canvas installed, I could see it costing that much. They could have slapped him with a big install fee. Maybe they ordered it through Coleman?

And if he went in for tires and needed other work done at the same time. I think 3hun isn t out of the question.  We all know how paying for work like that, can add up. Maybe bearing work, or a little wiring work on the lights, install, balancing, tire disposal, road hazard?, etc. etc. I ordered 3 new tires last year, I know it was alot more than $15.00 a tire. I will look for the invoice....

Plus, I just paid $70.00 just for a bearing repack.

Not everyone in the world is the PU expert we think we are[;)] <<< Kidding!

Ya know, I just have to be the devils advocate. I can t help it[:D]

brainpauseI have to agree with Jeffrey.  Maybe the guy is just trying to sell a popup.

According to the TV ads, if you want to buy something, go to Ebay.  If you got something to sell, go to Ebay. (...And do it Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeebay!) First time you go there, you get a feedback rating of zero (0).  I was there (at 0) on Ebay once.  Not much more than that now.  Anybody else buy (or sell) anything on Ebay?

(Step off of my soap box.)

 (Get back on.)
And as with anything else, caveat emptor (Buyer beware.)  Or, in this case: Not comfortable, don t bid.
 (Step off.)

 (Oh yeah......  Get back on.)
Nobody else ever paid more than they should have for something?
(OK.  Think I m done now.  Step down.)

Anyways, where is birol s input here?

(Or maybe the guy is really trying to rip some poor sap off.)

brainpauseYes, I have bought quite a bit off ebay.  We ve attempted to sell a couple of times, but was unable to sell it.  (we attempted to sell our timeshare and a selection of LP s).

I bid carefully knowing about the cost of shipping, so I don t feel that I have over paid for anything.  I always look at what they charge for S/H - anymore most try to list this.

If anyone is interested, we have a great timeshare in Kissimmee FL to sell -- MAKE AN OFFER -- it is a RED week so very easily used.
