We bought our PUP 3 years ago to see if we really liked camping.  Turns out, we did and then started looking for the next trailer.  After visiting several RV Shows and many dealerships we fell in love with the TrailManor while camping on Cape Cod.  On a whim, we went to MCD RV in Hyannis, MA in July and almost left with a new TrailManor 3023.  The plan then was to order a 3124KB at one of the RV shows and have it for next year but recently the plan changed....

When checking out the website for MCD last week, I saw that they were selling their rental/demo 3023 for a greatly reduced price.  We had already applied for the loan and had been approved so we decided that we could live with a Queen instead of King size bed and live with a little less storage.  We put the deposit on it today and pick it up on Columbus Day weekend.  They are giving us a free weekend at our favorite Cape Cod Campground and we get all the original warrantees.

I think the next few weeks are going to crawl....

aldebnjI finally got to see one of these, We have one dealer here (120 miles), but the guy that owned it was apparently gone for a couple days, and never did come back to his site.  It was a model 20??.  Looked like it had nice windows, and not that closed in feeling, that I sometimes may get with hard sided trailers.

Question, can 1 person put one of these up, or do you have to have 2 people so both ends come out at the same time?

From what I could tell, it looked very well made, but I was only looking outside. Didn t want to get too close, somebody may have thought I was " shopping" .

aldebnjHi Gary, We visited a dealer and he asked my wife to set one up by herself! She did it with no problem and she s NEVER set our pop-up up!!!

aldebnj

aldebnjThey can be set up by one person and you only set up one side at a time.  It is easier to set up than my PUP.  Check out their website and they have some good pictures and a short video clip.

It is nice and open and airy on the inside.  Very comfortable.  The hardwalled bathroom is a big plus.  We started off looking at the Coleman Bayside and liked it but it just wasn t quite right.  When my wife saw the TrailManor, she said, " This is perfect.  We don t need to look at any more trailers."

The dealership we are buying this from is about 300 miles from our home.  The closest one is about 200 miles but it just isn t easy to get to.  We are buying the trailer on Cape Cod, our favorite place (so far) to camp.  It s a good way to justify a long weekend away.

aldebnjIf you watch the video, it says that the TrailManor can be set up in 3 minutes...that is probably the outside.  I can truly set mine up and useable in about 2 minutes.  When I set up the TM I always have a audience, and Al is correct, it can be done by one person, and Veronica can and has set it up herself also. It is ther very best of both worlds, the comfort of the Travel Trailer with the ease of towing that the Pop UP affords.

Welcome to the TM " family"  Al, you have made a great choice and you will be very happy with it!!
