RedwolfHave you tried unhooking the battery completely, then using a multimeter to measure the output? check on the battery wires, that you took off. If it s about 12.5 to 13.2 it s working, If it s not, trace it backward.

RedwolfAlso, keep in mind that if the battery is only getting 12.5v from the converter, it will probably NEVER charge up to 100% which is 12.6 to 12.7 volts! Most of the converters I ve seen do a very poor job of charging a battery! I d spring for a Deep Cycle charger at Wally World for $35.00 to $40.00 before spending too much time checking the converter, especially if all the 12v circuits work when plugged into shore power.

RedwolfPop already did this...zero volts going to the battery.

Hence the question " Is it SUPPOSED to be charging the battery?" .   We know that some trailers don t.

RedwolfMy  95 Avalon doesn t have a battery charger circuit with the converter. I am not sure if newer model Colemans have it or not, never really looked that close at the converter in newer ones.
