Quote1. Put it underneath the trailer.
 2. Put it under the tongue A-frame
 3. Mount it on the side of the A-frame

Kevin, the only thing I see as a possible problem with any of these options is ground clearance (road debris hitting the spare at speed and any resulting damage to the spare) and/or actually getting to the spare (should/when the need arise) while the trailer is sitting lower on a flat tire.

Can you mount it on the top of the A-frame? Off the trailer s rear bumper? On a (for want of a better word) " TV hitch-mounted bike-rack type-thingy" ? Just toss it in the back of the new tow rig?

Howz about a front-mounted receiver... I LOVE the one I put on my truck for Ray s bike rack, and a spare-tire mount could easily fit there. Plus, you can *drive* the trailer into your garage or other tight spots.

Just suggestions. Only you will know what works out best for you.

6QuigsKevin,                                                                                                                 I don t remember if it had a cover on it or not. But what if you just placed it in the garage or shed until you go camping then just throw it in back of the truck. PROBLEM SOLVED no mounting.
