Wow, I'm reading my Pop UP Times and I see Bill & Paula Shattuck as contributors. I think, "Hmmm, those names sound familiar. Is that Moose and Moosette? Her name is Paula, but his name is....Moose? I don't know his 'real' name." Then I read further, and lo and behold, it's our very own Moose and Moosette. And I can't wait to make the fudge recipe, especially with the Girl Scout troop. :)

By the way, the recipe says Bruce, but the contributors says Bill.  Which is it?  Oh, heck, it's Moose.  That's easier.

Who is Bruce?  Heck, who's Bill?  He's Moose to us! :)   Yup, that's them in there.  Our GSMs were in the prior issue.

Moose and Moosette...we'll have to wear our Contributor T-Shirts at Cachuma.  Nice job you two.

I sent an email to Dave at PUT and he apologized for the error. He also missed an error on the cover. You might want to check that out. Thanks for the kudos. If anyone needs additional copies of the 4 items I cooked, let me know.

Congrat's. you Mooses!
I showed the recipe to Amy on Saturday when the magazine arrived and we're going to try it at the NNC rally this w/e.  Looks easy enough for even a non-cooking type like me.
Dave even posted a public apology to you Bill;

OC Campers

Wow, there have been 2 SC Camper families in our PUT issues.  Not BAD!!!

Moose and Moosette, can't wait to try the fudge.  I agree with Trina, I think this recipe is gonna have to go to our next Girl Scout campout.  It looks wonderful.

I'm sure Moose tried it with his Boy Scouts, so of course the Girl Scouts will be able to do it -- only better!  ;)

Must be David Akins instead of Adkins?  Maybe he was thinking of Clay Aiken at the time?  LOL  Beside the fact that a deer would never peek into a pop up.

Paula and I have done this with Girl Scouts when we did a cooking demo for one of their outings. We had 6 sessions and each group cooked or made 4 different items. Spoon fudge was one and ALWAYS disappeared.
