If anyone doesn't already know it was 100 years ago today at 10:35am that Wilber and Orvill Wright made the first heavier than air flight.

Yes I did know.  They were going to try and recreate the flight this morning, but I don't know if they were able to do it. :)

It didn't work. They had too much rain and not enough wind.

B-flat

There was not enough wind to get it off the ground and it was raining.  The first attempt failed and they tried again at 3:45pm but that didn't work either.  President Bush was there for a little while and made a nice speech and also John Travolta who is a pilot and has his own plane.

They are supposed to try again next year.  It would have been really cool if it would have flown yesterday. :)
