Just looking at the NC/SC map in the Trailer Life Directory and they had this website listed for Myrtle Beach CG's, did not even know it existed but it is a good one to direct you to information on their CG's.

Hey, that's a great site. The link on that page didn't work for Apache at first, though. Later, I found that it worked. Apache is a smaller campground next to a hotel. Lots of people who camp there like to fish on the pier. It has plenty of trees as well as open sites. It's off the main Kings hwy and not far from the Walmart and Briarcliff.

My brother and sister-in-law are planning to spend the month of October in Myrtle Beach (not camping) and they invited me to come visit while they are there. I'm toying with the idea of going to Myrtle Beach in between race weekends at Charlotte and Martinsville. Since I'll have the PU with me, it seems a shame not to camp! I really like the looks of the Barefoot Camping Resort. The off-season rates are very reasonable. Also, it's just across the highway from Barefoot Landing, and I love Barefoot Landing! (And any campground that's within walking distance of a Cracker Barrel has to be good!  LOL!!)

Anyone have any experience with Barefoot? Or with camping at MB in October? (I've been to MB in late October and the weather was very pleasant. Never camped at the beach, although I'm thinking mid-October ought to be really nice camping weather.)
