Well no, not really but it does mean spring cleaning. My DW takes
spring cleaning to the extreme, especially this year. The oldest
son graduates this June 1st and you know what that means. Yup,
family coming in from all over the country.

Of course, that means painting, EVERTHING in site it seems, new
furniture, carpeting, bedroom set (for what reason I don't know,
ours is only 35 years old...LOL). Just got done with the bathroom.
New paint, all new decor . new tiles...new, new, new. I'm
exhausted. My bedroom is in the kitchen, my kitchen is in the
living room, having to eat out each day for the past week (well
there is a plus side...hehehe), and the.....oh God, who knows where
that is. I'm bringing the camper home next week. I think I will
move in it till this is all over. If I make it until his
graduation, it will be a miracle. This shin-dig is costing me a
fortune in more ways than one. WHEN WILL IT EVER END.........
And to think I have only two more years until it starts all
over again with my youngests graduation. Now, where did I put the
Tylonol......or maybe the vodka.

Someone told me once that they have parties every so often to get things done around the house.  WHY is it that motivates so many of us in life?  We can live with it looking old and yucky, but we have guests over and we feel the need to impress!

Of course, this is coming from a person that is remodeling her kitchen.  USUALLY I schedule a party and then the fixing begins.  This time, the fixing began and then I scheduled a party in a month to make sure I finish everything, instead of leaving things go and never doing them!

Good luck with your renovations.  You are going to love your house even more once you are done.  Oh, and I'm about ready to move out to the camper too!  Heck, it has a more functional kitchen than mine will be this weekend, plus it's not dusty ALL THE TIME!
