I'm so very sorry to hear the news. I had been so hopeful for his recovery. I pray you have the strength to support each other through this sad time. I hope you can remember all the good times you spent together.

I want to add my condolences to this brave family.  I will keep the family in prayer and as a parent I know that there are no words that can ease the terrible pain that this loss has rendered.

May God grant you peace and hope in the promise of everlasting life and the hope of being with together as a family some day again, with no pain.

God Bless you.

I also hope that Cajun's son recovers from the illness.

Unfortunately, I don't believe Cajun is seeing any of these posts as, according to his profile, he hasn't visited the board since November 2, 2003.

He may not be seeing them but topcat, you need to go back and read the last two pages as his son has passed away recently.

Daer Cajun,

I am so grieved to learn that Alex has lost his courageous battle. As I sit here crying for you, please know that I (and all your PUT friends) share in your sorrow.  We will continue to keep your family in our prayers.

May the Lord  give you His abundant comfort, strength and peace in this very tender time for you and family.

Ditto here, Griffsmom.
You said exactly what I was going to say.

Sometimes when we camp and I get up in the early morning and I watch the rays of the sun come streaming through the clouds, I believe that its my Dad (he passed away in 1983) looking out at me. I get comfort that way.
I hope it can be so for you someday.

I don't think I"ve ever posted to this thread, but I've been following Alex's battle since Cajun first posted this, and I sit here completely in tears now.

What a brave little boy.
