After camping in the rain and suffering with the sagging roof issue again a thought occured.  If I jacked the roof up (with a floor jack) to an original non-warped shape...I could install wood strips in between the roof and the brace mounted inside and in the center.  This would..I think..force the roof to maintain it's shape.  I could also drill into the sides of the brackets and bolt the brace to the brackets.  This would allow the brace system to be more stable.  Question is has anyone tried this?  Would the brace system pull out of the roof?

Any Thoughts?

Thanks!!!!!!

You could give it a try, doesn't sound like it will hurt.  I suspect it wont do much good though.  The roof brace is, itself, an attempt to correct the problem and we see how well it works!  It will probably buy you some time.

I just shimmed my front ABS panel to close the gap between the roof seal the camper body.  Worked like a charm.  All you need to to is remove the front bed to allow you to get at the aluminum trim piece that covers the gap between the ABS panel and the interior of your camper.  Once you remove the screws that hold the aluminum strip to the framing it is a simple matter of inserting wood strips between the framing and the ABS panel.  In my case I found that the warping was in the front panel and NOT in my roof.  I now have a good (not great) seal along the front edge between the roof and the camper body.
