Cheech and Chong were two great actors and so fuuuuuunnnnnnnny!  I've seen their movies.  I love their line, "Whhhhhhat's hhhhhhapppening, what's haaaaaap----eniiiiiiiiinnnnnnngg?"

Well back in the day we used to watch a lot of Cheech and Chong, listen to their cd's etc...so my name being dave, it just kind of stuck.  Anytime somebody asked for me on the phone, at the door whenever, it was always, "Dave's not here man" :sombraro:

It's always possible I met George, but I don't remember if I did or not.  It's a fairly small town and I've been here for 19 years so you never know.  And yes Franciscos is still around and they will not go anywhere for a long time.  The world famous ritas are as good as ever...in fact we're going there after work tonight, I'll have a house rita for you

Hey, that's GREAT  news!    (I hope the drink was just right!)  :p

Every time I've been to Durango, I've made it a point to stop in at Francisco's.  Looks like I may be getting  back to "them parts" some time this summer (on the way to Mesa Verde and maybe Hovenweep) and the idea of  quenching our thirst with a little Tequila at Francisco's is really a happy thought

Yeah I know,  I swear I was born in the wrong decade.. In Highschool when all my friends were taking hard drugs and listening to stuff that doesn't even qualify as music, I was plenty happy just chilling out with Uncle Johns Band...Now some of them are strung out on meth, in jail, one is dead...as for me I'm having Nice Dreams and Still smokin'...
