My FIL/MIL blessed us at Christmas with a new 15 gallon flat greywater container. We used it on our first trip, and I really like it.

However, that thing is sorta bulky. And big too. How do you folks carry yours? We are just putting it in the back of the pickup, but that gets in the way of firewood, air conditioner, etc.

Any good ideas?

Maybe you could rig something up to strap it to the bumber while traveling??

Or bungee it to the propane tanks!! My old blue tote on wheels wasn't that wide, and it fit into the front storage trunk. I let it go with the PU, but think I may someday regret doing that! I've got 30 gal gray tank on the trailer, and can get 3-4 days out of it at the most.

However, been considering a mod I saw in the MH dept at rv.net, utilize a filter and pump and transfer gray water to the black tank. We barely hit 1/8th of a tank on the black, so it's terribly under utilized. Adding gray water to it would only help to flush it all out anyway! It's a mod that will happen as soon as I get far enough ahead on the bills to afford it!
