Hehehe, I'm glad I was not standing behind that thing.  It goes to show that some people don't read up on weight ratings and towing when they hook up their camper.  The force of gravity will kick in.

What I don't understand is, why he did not brake ?   :Z:Z:Z Surely the TT had brakes and he ahd a brake controller right ? hehehe Sorry can't help poking fun, it is hilariously stupid, I hope they made it all alive !

Boy they sure were stupid.  What a waste of a trailer!  They could have just posted free on here and someone would have grabbed it in a minute.  Although, it could be it was a lemon, and was getting no results through dealer, so they totaled it and claimed on the insurance.

Wait, Birol, as most of us have done:yikes:  you too will have a stupid trick or tow that will happen to you.

This has got to be the bigest SPUT, er, STTT (Stupid Travel Trailer Trick) I have ever seen.

There's a reason they call them "idiot lights".  The steam was pouring from his TV before he stalled.  "Hey buddy, even if you ignore the light on the dash, you should check your mirrors.  That cloud is from you!"

Of course, unless he had a Prodigy, no brake controller would have helped, and surge brakes would have been useless too.

It would have been possible to use the manual lever on the brake controller, but that is something that would have had to actually occur to him.  If it didn't occur to him to stop while his engine was steaming and his overheat idiot light was on, then guess when he would have thought of that manual brake lever.

Oh, and once he lost the engine, he lost TV brakes as well.  Can you say "Use both feet and pray?"

At first, I wondered whether he deliberately ran off the road to bring a stop :D to things, but now I'm more inclined to think he had reached the point where he no longer had a significant influence on the outcome.

Everyone on this board should see this video.

Austin (who is now in second place in the stupid trailer trick category)

I doubt there was any "significant time" for him to react.  It all happened fast. :yikes:
