Everything is packed except the coolers and I'm ready to go! Have to go into work for a few hours, then it's so long work, so long computers, so long financial reports, HELLO Black Flies!

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday weekend! Drive safe, watch out for the other guy, and remember those who fought for our and our friends freedoms!

[Gone-Camping]

I've been off work since noon (quit the RV Dealer job a littler earlier than planned today) and have been busy getting things ready for this weekend. I have all the stuff in the trailer except for my laptop, cell phone charger, and a couple of minor personal odd's -n- ends, and they will all get packed tonight prior to going to bed.

Picked up 3 large bags of ice for my 120qt Igloo 5 day cooler which was already loaded with four 12 packs of drinks and a case of bottled water, it's full to the brim. Installed the Grp-27 battery, turned on the propane, bled the air from the gas lines then hit the switch for the Refridge (it's DSI so lights itself). After only 2 hours the Freezer felt like it would have kept Ice Cream solid!!!
 
I've got to work to tomorrow (back at the Ford Truck Dealership) until noon (they told me if I worked half a day, then worked again on Tuesday, I'd get paid for the Holiday too). Once I'm off of work, I'll put the food in the refridge, got one Bike that will have to ride inside the trailer, and we'll be good to go!!!

I may get stuck at work until 10 pm tomorrow :mad:, so I reserved the campsite starting today.  The PU is popped up at the park.  A friend of ours is camping with in site of the PU so they will keep an eye on it for me.  I have the coolers packed and most of the clothes packed.  I will load the second cooler into the TV in the morning.  Clothes and a few odds and ends will also go into the TV in the morning then I will go to work.  Stress all day hoping I don't have to work until 10. :eyecrazy:   When I do get off it is home to pick up the kids and their toys and off to the campground.  If I do have to work late it will be nice to get to the campground and have everything all set up.

I only have Friday off this week, and I'm working straight through from Saturday till next Thursday. Thanks to all that served (and are serving) so we can enjoy our freedoms.

I am now packed except for the kids toys.  Now I just need to get home to go on the trip. :eyecrazy:

I've already been camping since Wednesday!  I had to work today so I had to come back in til 6 tonight then I'm back to the lake!!  Have fun everyone and be safe.

Most of our stuff is in the back of DH's truck, just the coolers and a few last minute things to throw in when he gets home from work today.  It seems like we're taking way too much again this time, but part of the space in his truck is beng taken up by some lumber that he brought home when his company tore apart some very large packing containers, including some 4'x5' skids with plywood on them that can be used as decking for our campsite.   We also decided that because the weather is suppose to be cold, and very possibly wet this weekend, we would bring both the AAR and the 12x14 screen tent.   Will use the AAR for storage, hanging wet clothing, etc. and the screen tent for playing cards, yahtzee and dominoes, and as a dining room.  I'm really looking forward to this weekend, haven't camped since last November and that was too cold for comfortable fun.  (was so bundled up in warm clothing that I felt like the little kid in "A Christmas Story" and was afraid that if I fell down I wouldn't be able to get up.)
