How to donate MOAT ......

As I promised when I got MOAT from Larry, it is now ready to go to its new home. Thanks God that the newspaper business is bringing substantially more money since May, a lot more than the 30 bucks we started with !

So, MOAT needs to go a home which *needs* it and will appreciate it. We only used it twice, but loved having it, and it started our camping adventure.

How do I find a  family who needs it ? If someone knows somebody who needs it, can you pass it on to me please ?

Any ideas on how to do this fairly will be appreciated.

I know someone down here who could use it... how much would it cost to ship?

Too much ...... Maybe I could ship it from the rally, or we could meet whiloe going there or something on the way back from the rally ?

Shipping would be prohibitive, it is bulky and heavy .... Anyone from your area is coming to the rally who can drop it to you ?

Hmmm, not sure I'd be that quick to disperse of MOAT...

I've owned 3 PU's and a Hybrid since I last tent camped, but still have the cabin tent packed away in closet. And now that I'm talking to lawyers about my financial problems, it looks like I may have to sell or loose my Hybrid (a temporary set-back at most). But if it does come to that, I'll still be able to go camping because I still have all the tent camping goodies left over from so many years ago. Actually, I still have access to "The Old Barge" (78 Starcraft)...
 
Hmmmm, take one step forward, now take two steps backward....
 
At any rate, I hope you find a good home for the MOAT. BTW, anyone heard from Larry lately?

I thought about that too Cliff, but I promised that I would pass it on when I could, and as Finally is paid for, I think it will not make sense to keep MOAT anymore. I do not want it to rot in the garage and become unusable.

Sorry to hear about  fianncial issues Hope it works out for the best for you, hopefully you won't loose the hybrid.

Did not speak to Larry  lately .... last I heard his wife had an operation and he was selling his PU. Maybe I can catch him on msn one day.

I can bring the tent back to Cincinnati to give to Nancy or whomever that is requesting the tent in this area.

Moat is still waiting to be donated, Angelsmom10 informed me that I am free to donate it to anyone who wants it, or anyone whom you know who wil put it to good use.


Cory thanks for offering to take it back with you, but looks like that will not be needed at the moment.
