This is a really stupid question, but I have a lot of left over marshmallows from the Western rally.  The kids went for the strawberries dipped in chocolate more than the S'mores on a stick.  So anyway, do marshmallows do well in the freezer?  How long can you freeze them?  I have a vacuum sealer, so should I use that so there won't be any air to cause freezer burn?

Vacuum sealed marshmellows.  IIRC Seal-A-Meal conmmercial shows them in jars turning into  giant sized due to the air inside that can't get out. Don't know what effect a bag would have used with the vacuum.

we discovered this varient monday night. make your s,mores the conventional way, but put a strawberry or cherry half on top of the marshmellow before you smach it together-way better than dipped strawberries or standandard smores.

I have five bags!  That's a lot of Rice Krispie treats and my booty is big enough, thank you!  We're having a 4th of July block party, so I'll use some then with our firepit.  And we're leaving on vacation middle of this month, so I'll take the rest with me.  It'll be fine.  I did stick one bag in the freezer and I'll check them in a few days to see how they are doing once thawed.

My sister always freezes the marshmallow peeps they sell at easter.  She likes them frozen. :)
