Good to hear that you were busy :)

I am done with the garage now, Finally is in, but it is still loaded, I do not know when I will be able to empty it. I have to take son from his camp tomorrow and the weekend run will start  right after that ......

Off I go to take a shower and take Camry for maintenance, I need it tomorrow ....

As the pastor says in church "God is Good," and we reply with a loud "All the Time."

Plus there is a song, cannot remeber the name or artist, that says "Sometimes God calms the storm, Sometimes He calms the child".  Either way we win.

I prefer to think of it as.... He wins, and I get to go along for the ride...

Nice to see you again Fire ( just rejoined the list - after not being involved since before they made it a pay site)

Quote from: vjm1639Reminds me of one of my favorite bumper stickers...."God never gives us more than we can handle. Sometimes I just wish he didn't trust me so much!"

Hey!  That's my motto ...

I also like the one that says "When God closes a door, he opens a window."  I just wanna know who left ALL the windows open sometimes!   :p

I must say even among all the troubles I've had in my life ~ He always manages to throw a rainbow in there somewhere.

God is indeed good.

Firefyter,
Quite good.  One more week til I hit the road, perhaps the last trip for the bayside.   Been working on another Master's in Theology, so ministry and chaplaincy only part-time.
Was interim pastor at a cute little community that reminded me of New Hampshire for friendliness of people and size.  Actually borrowed my folks sardine can ( 36 foot RV) which we parked in the middle of a apple orchard.  The church member had fulll hook ups!  Only reason I didn't take the bayside was because of toilet. which is just one of the reasons I want a Seqouoia.  I did undergo some specialist training to become a Interional Interim ( sort of like a church firefighter) which means I may end up on the road a little, and a fully self-containted tent trailer is ideal.  ( NO SARDINE CANS!)

At any rate - I am glad I broke down and rejoined.

Great to hear from you - hey - what's the max for a jeep to tow?

One needs to learn to see the rainbow, that is all it takes to put a smile on ones face .....

Well, it would depend on the Jeep.. My Wrangler with the 4cyl is kinda strapped by itself.. a 6cyl wrangler could probably take 3500.. (maybe) A small Chreokee with the 6cyl probably about the same.. and if you go with the Grand Cherokee with the correct setup I bet you can get 5000 out of one of them..

Sounds like you have been busy though!!

I agree He never gives us more than we can handle... But .. don't forget that we are in Christ and Christ in us.  Means that through Him, we can handle all things.

He gives us strength as we need it.
