My first long drive in a while

Well tomorrow I'm going to head out with the kids to go up to the TT.  I haven't driven much distance since my car accident last summer, so I have to tell you I'm kind of a nervous wreck.  Normally I wouldn't think twice about a simple 3 hr drive but it's been a long road of physical therapy to get back on track even a year later!!   I'm not so much worried about being hit again, I've become the queen of checking my rear view mirror constantly whenever stopped just to make sure I know who may come flying up behind me.  I just want to feel relaxed and get to our destination without arriving with my shoulders and neck muscles in knots!!!  Hubby is driving up to meet us tomorrow night, so at least I know he won't be far behind.  I'm going to take my time, stop at the rest stops and stretch and relax and then hop back in the car and go to the next point.  Sounds silly but it will be such a feeling of major accomplishment for me to get to that campground knowing I drove the distance myself!!

Sounds like fun!

I know that you will do fine.

We are trying to decide if we want to drag the camper out for a fun/relaxing weekend.  Wife has chemo again on Monday, I'm fighting an infected ear, antibiotics, ear drops, etc... and our three year old is being three.
