I know this subject has come up at least a dozen times.  I have done a search but have not found to much about what I need.  Someone posted about some purple stuff but I have never seen it here in Michigan.  I'm sure it is here someplace.  I have a Viking (1992) with the vinyl canvas that needs to be cleaned badly after the last few camping trips.  The bunk ends roof are white while the sides are blue.  What can I use to make my whites whiters and my brights brighter safely.  A bleach water mixture was mentioned but can that be used on vinyl safely?

It is called Clean Rite Purple Power and is available at any Advance Auto Parts store. We should have several in Michigan as I have been to company meetings with people from our stores there. I will warn you that it is an alkaline and should be used with caution. Check for colorfastness before use. As far a the outside of the camper I would suggest just plain 409. Below is a link to the manufacturer.
