Anyone going to Disney soon????

Here in New Jersey the kids have off from school for teachers conventions the first week of November. We will be going to Orlando from October 30th until the 7th of November. Any one else going down? We hope to check out some campgrounds in the area.

We're headed to Tropical Palms on Saturday just for a one nighter while the DD's go to Universal Studios Halloween Horror nights. I was gonna get a motel room but I'd much rather sleep in my own bed. This will be the second private campground other than Ft. Wilderness I've stayed at in over thirty five years of camping. It's half the price of FW but since we won't be doing Disney I figured what the heck. If you haven't been to FW and plan on doing Disney, FW is the place to stay. If you want to see the "REAL FLORIDA" check out the link at the bottom of my signature. Wekiwa Springs is the closest and one of my favorites, although I'm kinda partial to all my wonderful State Parks. We'll be back to FW on 1/7 thru 1/11/05 to do the Disney Marathon. If you need anything while your down just let us know, from one Jersey guy to another and maybe you could bring down some hardrolls, White castle hamburgers, Taylor Ham, Andersen and Tarlow hot dogs and Breyers butter Almond Ice Cream or anything you can think of that I've forgotten.

LAST TIEM WE WERE THERE WE CHECKED OUT WHAT WE COULD OF FORT WILDERNESS, BUT WERE LOOKING TO STAY IN THE AREA BUT NOT HAVE TO PAY SO MUCH $$ FOR A SITE SINCE WE WILL JUST BE SLEEPING THERE NOT MUCH MORE.

IF I WASNT FLYING THIS TIME  I WOULD BRING A TON OF THE FOOD THAT US NOT AVAILABLE DOWN THERE!!!

THIS TIME WE WILL BE STAYING AT A TIME SHARE  VISTANA...

We stayed at Vistana last October.  My Aunt and Uncle own a unit there and we stayed with them.  It was very nice condo and we were very close to Disney.

Well we're all hooked up and ready to head out to Tropical Palms. Just waiting for my DD's to awake from thier beauty sleep. I'll write up a review and maybe get some pictures. They say they have wireless internet access so I'll take the laptop and check that out too(can you imagine that,what's camping comming to).. It will about 3.5 hrs to get there, what's making me sick is the cheapest gas I can find is $2.19 per Gallon, oh well.
