Propane Heaters

I would like to install a propane heater in my PU so I can camp in the primative areas without electrictricity.

What type of heater would you recommend that can run off of a battery ?

How many amp-hours does the battery need to be rated for ? I have found one heater that only pulls 1.8 amps when the fan is running.

We use a Mr. Heater buddy to heat our pop-up.  I have an extension hose that I run into the camper the front bunk.  It is approved for indoor use, but I always have a CO monitor on just to be safe.  

I have a post here in the Mr. Fix-it section where I describe how to clean the heater the begining of each season.  The fact that I had to call customer support to learn how (not in the owner's manuel) is my only dissapointment with my heater.

I also heat our Niagsrs with a Mr. Heater Buddy..They are the greatest, never a problem.......

There is a bigger Buddy heater on the market now. It uses 2 1 pound propane cylinders or 2 bigger tanks hooked up by hoses and it has a battery operated fan.
