point is, manners still count, especially when armed. ran into a situation like that hunting on public land a few years ago. got into the weeds before dawn, planted myself at the base of a tree overlooking a clearcut. just before dawn, three guys show up, denanting i leave their spot-they put their tree stands here yesterday. first come, first served, but three aremed beats one armed. disgression is the better part of valor at a time like this, so smile, and move on down the line. alive, anand magnimous is better than dead right.
