Well, I just got done with the latest modification to the new Niagara.  One of the big things I was disappointed with was the fact that the sink drain was on the front side of the Niagara.  The first couple of times we used it we did not use the shower, so I just set the gray water container next to the door.  :(

So, time to steal someones idea and tie the two drains together.

Well, here it is: Single Drain System

LOOKS GREAT-Nice job! :-()

A very nice job!  I am a bit perplexed, however, I would've thought that instead of using the outside opening on the "living" side of your camper, you'd have brought the dain out the floor and tied into your cross-over pipe. That would have made a lot less set-up/take down time, not to mention the appearance of the job.
Of course I know what opinions are like! Everybody has one, and most of 'em stink!

PS...I do read the stuff at the bottom in the taskbar!

I did think of that option but there is too much stuff in the way

Wheel well, lift cables, water tank.....

Thanks, I always wondered if anyone looked down there  :D

Nice looking job Tim and great description too. Do you find that you need to vent this or does it drain okay on it's own?

The Highlander trailers have a built in sink vent.  I wonder where Fleetwood got the idea for that? :yikes:   I don't think the shower has one. :)

Tracy, The good thing about Tim's set-up is once you have the single set-up the sink vent handles the whole system, as you know we have the sinle drain set-up and we have never had a back-up in the shower.

Tim, Question is you shower much larger than the std toliet/shower combos in previous years, from the pictues I have seen it looks larger, is it ?  Also how is it after a shower do you still have to hand dry the shower curtin in order to use the toliet ?

Tim5055

Skip, it seems to drain without any problems.

Adam, it appears a little larger but I'm not really sure.  This is our first pop up shower so I really don't have anything to compare it to.  We do not hand dry the curtain, we just move it aroud to the side away from the tiolet and it dosn't seem to get in the way.

Tim, Thanks that sounds great, we have a mess currently with our 2002 set-up being if your shower then you have to dry everyhing to be able for the kids to use the toilet !  I have heard there easy to put up and take down...is this the case ?

It goes up in less than a minute.  Now I admit, just for the two of us we don't even bother bringing the hard door.  If you need a little privacy we just pull the shower curtain in fron of the opening.

Adam the shower curtain track in the Highlanders is the same size as the hanging metal shower curtain rod in my trailer.  Why do you have to dry the shower curtain to use the toilet?  I gather the curtain in the corner away from the toilet and the "door".  I stick the bottom of the curtain in a plastic bag or dish pan to collect the drips if I want the floor to stay dry. :)

Sorry Tracy, Cant stand what dripping all over the kids and them falling, for me it is ok but not for the little guys they seem very wet if we don't dry everything down after shower time, but when where out next trip I would like to see how you bungi your shower curtin up since I have tried and it seems to make a big mess everywhere and takes longer then taking a towel to everything...also feels clean after I towel everything down !
