As several of you know, we spent the past 10 days traveling through Florida from our home in Atlanta (Silver River State park in Ocala and Fort Wilderness).

Last Tuesday we were Silver River SP in Ocala. I got up and began to set up to tow out as we had reservations at Dsiney World that night.

Whe I attempted to start the F-250 it would not start. It cranked fine but would not catch and run. After a few tries I called Ford Roadside assistance. This was the one disappointmant with the service we received. For some reason Ford picked a tow company over 60 miles away so it took them close to an hour and a half to arrive. By the time it was on the flatbed and moved to the dealer 2 1/2 hours had gone by.

It was taken to Ford of Ocala. The service writer appeared to understand my situation and said they would get it in as soon as possible. Within 30 minutes it was in a service bay and less than a hour later it was finished.

I was impressed with how they handled my service knowing that they would probably never see me again.  Yesterday I got a phone call form Ocala Ford.  They were interested in my thoughts on my service experience.  They said that my situation was not unusual, they have a large shop and work on a lot of RVs - so folks traveling through are normal.

Nice to see good customer service.

Tim,
Sorry to hear about your troubles, but it sounds like Ford took good care of you. So what was wrong with the new 250? (Since we have a 150, your post made me nervous!)

yes do tell. My expedition has been starting funny its like it doesn't want to turn over like its not getting enough gas and when it catches it like I've added too much gas .
