Socket Jenie

Just bought a Socket Jenie for my 2005 Fleetwood Sea Pine to raise the roof up and down and its about 3" too short.  Has anybody else had this problem.

I am sorry to hear that. We will contact the manufacturer and look into it. Go ahead and send it back and we will give you a refund.

        I talked to the manufacturer today and he is going to talk to Fleetwood and get the right size so they can manufacture the size
that is needed for the 2005's. You might want to put a note in the online store that it will not work with 2005 models. He said that I could ship this one back to him and as soon as he gets the new one manufactured he will ship it to me. What has happen is Fleetwood has put an extended bumper on the 2005's so it comes up 3" short. So, I'll
send this one to him. That way I will get it sooner.

Bill, this maybe model or unit specific.  The old Jenie works fine with my 2005 Niagara.


I purchased it when we had the 2001 Santa Fe and like I said, it still works fine.  I wonder if yours may just be an oops on the assembly line :confused:

Tim, you are right it does work with the Niagara because its in the
Highlander Series and the Sea Pine is in the Destiny Series. All Destiny
Series models the crank is through the bumper and all other series are
at waist high. The Detiny Series bumpers have been extended out 3" more on 2005's.
