Well, after a bit more research, I don't think the Rockwood HW will work for us.  GVW is almost 400lbs past our tow capacity.   :(

So now, we are considering either the Starcraft or Jayco HW campers.  We really like the High Wall design becasue of the added amenities and the added roof clearance (I am 6'04").  Both the Jayco and Starcraft would be within our tow capacity.  Does anyone here have experience with either one or opinions on these manufactuers?  Any and all info would be appreciated. Thanks for the help. :)

If it is mainly the roof clearnace...our Coleman Mesa (NOT a HW) has an inside ceiling height of 81"!  My son is 6'5" and he's perfectly comfortable in it!   :>

We have a Starcraft Centenial 3600 and real like it.  I believe thay have since discontinued this model.

Inside height is 7'7" if memory serves me correctly.  Counter tops are residental height.  King size, 4" matresses are very comfortable.  These popups come very nicely equipped.

Ours is very well behaved when being towed behind my '99 GMC P/U.

Not sure about the interior height concern you have.   Our Coleman Sun Valley (not HW) has an interior height of 8' and huge kind beds.  My DH is 6'5" and has no problem at all with the roof or fitting on the beds.  I'm trying to convince him of moving over to hybrid, but we can't find one with an interior height greater than 6'4" or beds as roomy as in our pop up!!  He's so comfortable in the pop up, we'll probably never get  a new camper!!!  :(

Iwas at the RV show in Chicago and looked at some of the HW , and did'nt like what i saw between the dry weight and the loaded max weight,
one was only 400 lbs, so if your like me and pack the kitchen sink.
I need more like 800- 1000 lbs of cargo room things add up too fast
so with the HW check cargo capacity in lbs not volume

We purchased our Starcraft Centennial 3600 two years ago, here is price information and specifications:

We paid $10,000 for the 3600 before tax, etc. That included:

Base trailer (includes 3 way refrigerator, hot water heater, 3 burner stove, battery gauge, water pump, dual 20# propane tanks w/ regulator, etc.)

Convenience package (includes Fantastic vent fan, sand pads, privacy curtains, etc.)

11 A&E Deluxe Awning

16 M BTU Furnace w/ Electronic ignition

Aluminum Wheels

A/C prep with second bar & Wire

Deluxe Package (which includes a bunk fan light)

1 x additional bunk fan light

11 A&E screen room with privacy flaps

Outside shower

Exterior storage drawer (goes in the front trunk)

Microwave oven

Gas Oven

AM/FM Radio w/ CD player

13.5 M BTU Air Conditioner + heat strip (mounted on back half of the roof and the Fantastic vent fan is mounted on the front half of the roof)

Like most dealers, ours has starter packages etc which they " throw" in, we chose:

RVQ

Starter package - water pressure regulator, chocks, 30 to 15 amp adapter, level, water hoses, port-a-potty, 12 volt battery, etc.

Another member, Anglesmom (a.k.a Nancy), got a 3606 about the same time.  If you can get hold of her sshe can fill you in on that unit likes and dislikes, etc.
