Hello there
Joseph & Diana here with a quesstion, where can we get bed sheets for our PU without paying an arm and a leg, we have an 04 Palomino Yearling

I just use regular bed sheets rather than the ones specifically for a camper. They may not be an exact fit, but they're better quality and cost less.

My Utah has king size beds, so I use a king fitted but a queen top sheet and queen size blankets and comforters. The queen size are almost exactly the length and width as the mattress, and you don't need all the extra to hang down like you do on a regular bed. The king fitted is a little large, but I just try to tuck in the extra.

We also have a king bed in the pu, so we use regular sheets (king fitted and queen flat plus covers) instead of sheets made specifically for the popup.

I like to buy the heavier duty lower thread count ones when they are on sale at Target etc.  They work great!!

We also use "regular" sheets from Mervyn's or Target in the closest size available in ready made.  Since we use sleeping bags, the main purpose of the sheets is to keep the bed covers clean.  Works for us.

We bought a couple of sets of the sheets made specifically for our PU.  The top sheet is attached to the bottom sheet, a feature we like.

I also just use regular sheets. I was lucky I bought King size fitted and flat for $4.00 each at big lots. I'm looking for flannel ones for the winter. I suppose I could sew them together at the bottom if I wanted to. Something to think about.

I get sheets with elastic all the way around the bottom sheet.  That way even though they are a little big, they stay on.:)

Hi there, I'm long time reader but have never posted anything before, but I have a funny story about PU sheets. For our first PU in 2000. We where limited on funds to buy everything we needed for the PU, so my mother in law let me borrow 3 sets of very nice sheets. First camping trip came and when I went to pack up all drit clothes and sheets was put into a white plastic garbage bag. We left campground headed home and unpacked to discover that we threw out the bag of sheets with the trash as we left the campground. Ever since that trip we now use blue hamper bags for dirty clothes or sheets. Thank goodness my mother in law was understanding.

we use regular sheets and bought the ironing board cloth holder,  it look like what we use to clip on the kids coats to keep their gloves attached, 2 clips with elastic between. I use those on the corners to tighten up the fitted sheet.

I just got 2 sets of sheets from these folks too. I have an unusual size bunk in my Taos (48 X 72) and no one makes a  reasonable sheet set that will fit it. The ones I got from sheetsusa fit perfectly, I got the "cheap" ones, $52 for 2 sets with 2 pillow cases plus shipping, but I am a fighter in my sleep and I don't think I will ever get these bad boys off of the mattress. LOL:)
