Oh MAN! This "moving" thing is really starting to cramp my campin style. I want to go with you guys!!!
 
Can't make it though...we're moving the Monday after Mother's Day (YEAH, a new house for my Mother's Day present!! Way to go Randy!!). I need all the weekends I can get before moving day to pack and such.
 
Hope you guys have fun without us :(
 
And Hey...sorry we havn't been around...so much to do with selling and buying houses! Just keep your fingers crossed for us that all the escrows involved with this move go through without a hitch...I do NOT want to start any of this over again!!

Good to "see" you again!!  I was thainking about you recently and wondering what was up with you and your boys!  Big congrats on the new house!!!  Did I read or hear that you're moving to RSM?  We'll be even closer neighbors then, if so, since we're right next door in Foothill Ranch! :D
 
Sorry you won't be able to join us this weekend, but get those boxes packed and then unpacked and we'll have some fun at Pismo!

I know you've already moved sites once but what do you think about moving to 70 & 70a (if available)?
Aack! I totally dropped the ball and forgot to call on this! Oh well, when we check in, we can ask if those 2 sites are still open and then maybe switch...
 
What time will you guys be coming in on Friday? We'll be arriving Thursday and plan on going to the Wild Animal Park on Friday. It closes at 4 p.m. and my guess is that we'll probably get some dinner on our way back to the cg.
 
As for meals, on Saturday morning, I was thinking of making blueberry pancakes, if your kids would like that. Griffin would eat pancakes every day for every meal if I'd let him! For Saturday dinner, I could make a chicken and dumplings recipe for the dutch oven. Let me know what you think. :)

Hmmm....it's raining....someone from SCCampers must be going camping!  ;)
 
 It's us!!  We've got a break in the rain and the sun is actually shining through, so we're packing up and getting ready to head off to Woods Valley for the weekend with Cstars.  We'll be going to the San Diego Wild Animal Park tomorrow--Griffin is very excited! It should be a fun and relaxing weekend. Joan, I've e-mailed you my cell number if you need to reach us.  See you tomorrow evening!

Just got home from work..I'm working on Thurs again..I guess by Popular demand (from the bar owner)...Have fun camping..Dan & I will be in Catalina looking for Flipper :Z

Wow 10 years married and we still haven't killed each other yet.. :D

glad you had a great time...We had an AWESOME time in Catalina but I would have loved to camp with you guys..I am off to bed..I'm soo wiped out...I know you're shocked..I'm not even going to attempt to play Zoom :yikes:  :J

Yep, Lori, we are moving to RSM...at least we're trying to. I just found out today that the person at the bottom of this whole sale (my buyers buyer) fell out of their escrow. They're trying to fix all the problems they are having with their loan as I type this.
 
If they can't get funded, then my buyer can't buy my place, then I can't buy my new home in RSM boo hoo hoo. Man how I hate being the only one in this deal with a great realtor, a great lender agent, and fabulous credit (grin).
 
Keep your fingers crossed this all works out...I'm supposed to be moving in a week...I don't think it's gonna happen that soon (if at all (pout)).

Hey Trina! What great advice you gave us about this cg!! We loved it, especially the boomerang section. We looked at the rest of the cg and this was definitely our favorite section. I second Joan's post about this being a great place for a mini-rally. I think the boomerang would hold about 11 or 12 families.
 
So here's my "after the mini-mini-rally" review: We had a great weekend! The rain was torrential at our house Thursday morning and during a break in the downpour, we were able to pack everything up and hit the road by about 10:40 a.m. The rain stopped as we traveled south, and was over and done with by the time we reached the cg around 12:30 p.m. Good thing too, because the little creek that runs alongside the driveway into the cg had crested and flooded the road that morning. Fortunately, it had receded by the time we got there, so we drove in with no problems.
 
Other than the rain Thursday morning, the weather was beautiful all weekend. Our sites were a bit soaked and muddy from the rain, but otherwise very clean and well shaded. Our biggest challenge was trying to keep the mud out of the camper and Griffin out of the mud. We did pretty well at the first but failed miserably at the second. At one point, he was in it so deep that it sucked the shoe right off his foot. That would be his brand new Stride Rite shoe....it never happens to his cheapy Wal-Mart shoes.
 
The staff at Woods Valley, especially Sharon, tries hard to make their campers feel welcome. Sharon told us about a local Italian restaurant that now delivers to the cg, or if you
