We are looking at a used 1999 coachmen pop up. It's in good condition and has been used sparingly. My concern is there is a soft spot on the roof, that has been patched before. almost looks like a branch had landed on it causing some damage. When we first looked at it the pop up it was open and there was some  condensation on the inside, right where the spot on the roof is. People say no big deal it can be patched and if aired out and dried well things should be well. We had a lot of snow this winter in MA I'm just leary that if the water has sat in there that the roof may be junk. Now mind you the cushions, tent part, and floor from what I can tell has no evidence of water. There is no mold or mildew that would suggest it being wet inside. Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you.

I had the exact same thought as you as I read you post. what if the water has migrated through the roof. Seen too many of them over the years with just a pin hole, but having an entire side board rotten away.

JMHO, but it's not worth the risk.
