William Heise 4/15/2005 Update.....

A big thank you goes out to Roberta for all her hard work. The kids had a blast on the scavenger hunt and we thank you for your welcome greeting at 8:30pm at night on Friday..(Sorry we were so late - MAPQUEST warning bad directions)... The family had a great time meeting everyone and the kids had a ball playing with others.

I'm sorry I did not get a chance to say good-bye to everyone on the way out but I had Little League obligations at 10:50am on Sunday and I was running late with a dead battery on the TV... With that said... I look forward to camping with all of you at future SCcamper events and don't be shy if you would like to get together for other camping outings "sooner".... I can't wait for the next rally!!!!

I hope next time that we (me and Sandra) get a chance to meet at talk with you all "longer"... This trip was too short!!!!

I agree with everyone.  Thank you to Roberta for making this a very special camping trip with the SCcampers.  She did a wonderful job.  Kind of makes me worry though if I ever have to follow in her shoes wagonmastering.     Thank you also to everyone else for making us feel welcome on our very first outing with the "group".  Everyone was so nice and my kids had a great time meeting their "new frieinds".  Us too!!  We had fun meeting our new friends and we look forward to the next trip with everyone.     :-()

Kim:  our boys are already asking when they can see Matt and Joshie again.  They wanted to know how far away you lived.  I didn't see a personal e-mail button for you. If you can, please e-mail me, I have a question for you.  Thanks!!  I'm fired up for my embroidery machine.  

We can't wait for the next event.

We thought this weekend went by way too quickly sooo... we decided to stay an extra day. We just got home. The campground was totally different when its empty. And we got to see what happens at county parks during the week  :yikes: . The woodchipping machines moved in at exactly 8:00 a.m. this morning right next to our sites and started chipping away. We even had to move all the kids toys because they were "in the way". Why with a completely empty campground except for our 2 sites and a site with a few tents on it did they have to start their work right next to us. :eyecrazy:

Now the important stuff: Thanks so much Roberta for everything. It was nice to meet some more new friends. And to see some we already had. The kids had a great time taking over the campground with their scooters  :eyecrazy: . Looking forward to the next "rally".

Sounds like all the old and new SCCampers had a good time.
 
 I had plans on Friday in Oakland. G had plans in Ventura on Saturday.  All of a sudden plans fell through.  We got to go camping.  Just at Lake Casitas, home of the first SCCampers rally.

Hello everyone.  
Thanks again for a great time at William Heise.  Just to let you know, I did special order the weather.  Wasn't it great!!!  I'll try to get pictures up as soon as things calm down around here....after this weekend.  there was a discussion amongst some of us about doing this again next year.  sounds great to me and i would be willing to waganmaster it again.  I called reservations about reserving the 20 hookup site in the circle.  This CANNOT be done anymore     I have to reserve and pay for the entire 20 sites.  So...how many people are interested for same time next year.......We can reserve on line now for next year.    

It would be the weekend of April 14 or the week of April 22 or April 28. 2006 if we make it the weekend of April 14....It could be our "taxes are over" weekend??
