When we went to Vail Lake with SCCampers last month we saw some people playing this game but didn't know what it was.  We found it in a magazine and we are thinking of getting it so we can take it to Pismo.  Here is the link to the website, check it out and let me know if it sounds like it would be a fun game.
Check out the testimonials. Here is one of them:

BlongoBall "Breaks the Ice" at an RV Rally

Recently one of the Safari Motor Home Clubs used BlongoBall games as an ice breaker at their annual rally.

It is best to let them tell this story themselves:

We had a "ball" with your BlongoBall - there were 92 people out of 106 involved in our tournament - it kept our attendees at the fairgrounds all day Friday playing the first round of the game - most unusual.  Because of the number of people we did simplify the rules - made the rungs 1-3-5 and the first to reach 21 without getting knocked off won.   As rally hosts we made up the teams - the criteria for the teams of two people each was no spouses and not the same sex.  What a wonderful ice breaker!  Not only did they need to find their partner but then the two needed to find the other team they were to play.  On Sunday the final rounds were played and everyone was there to cheer the contestants on.  We couldn't understand why ESPN Sports was not on hand to record the playoff.  Your game made a big hit!  I hope you get many orders as the info you emailed to us was prominently posted.  Thank you.

We would be happy to start and run a tournament at Pismo.  That would be one more thing to add to the event list at the rally.

It is also called LADDER GOLF, and Surfcal did a review of it in a recent edition of Popup times magazine.

Surfcal should be bringing his set with him to Pismo, so yes, let's set up a tournament at Pismo.

I think it would be fun, if we bring one we can have two games going on at once.

This game is known by a lot of different names.

There was even a guy selling plans for making it on ebay for $0.50

Campertime from GLPUC has plans on his web page if your interested in making your own. I made my own its very easy.

Last year while camping saw a set that were make of see thru pcv pipe with lights inside and a small battery hook up so you could play at night :eyecrazy:

I saw some like that last week ~ they were kinda cool ... they used red rope lights inside.

I went by after they were done playing ... wonder if they played with light-up balls ... :D
