What is your favorite...

What is your favorite part of a camping day? I'm an early riser because the dogs are early risers and I love to build a small fire and just hang out at the campsite and watch the world wake up.

That is a hard question.  I usually wake up early and read for a couple of hours.  I also like sitting around at night.

I am also an early riser.  I also like to watch the world wake up around a small fire......with my coffee of course.  I've had coffee with deer and even turkeys....(the feathered kind).  Not to mention the birds.

I love getting up ,grabbing my coffee  :morning:  and walking along the shore of a nice lake before the pleasure boaters get out and make waves. Dropping a line in the water to catch crappie/trout for breakfast is a bonus. I got  to tell ya, I really like finishing the days fun and watching a fire while the kids burn marshmellows and I sip on a favorite beverage .:!

I'm with you springer, I love getting up early and sit by the morning fire and put on the coffe pot, and have the aroma of fresh brewed coffee in the air! I have often given out a fresh hot mug of java to the other early risers as they walk bye.....

Well I'm not an early riser (unless early afternoon counts ), but lounging around the fire with coffee in the morning is nice.
 But my favorite is longing around at night enjoying the fire, night sky and a beverage or 2.

The morning is a wonderful time with a great cup of Community Coffee New Orleans Blend and a morning fire.

I can't resist a Saturday night with an ice chest of Coors Light, camp fire and Saturday Night Classics of Country Music (New Orleans WNOE 101.1)

It don't get much better than that.

I suppose my favorite part would have to be just sitting around reading and relaxing in the afternoons.  It's hard to pick a favorite...  The mornings are great...the only thing better than the smell of coffee and bacon cooking at a campground in the morning is tasting it!     Sitting around the campfire in the evenings just staring at the coals and flames can't be beat either....  I love it all.

I like waking up and putting a pot of coffee on the camp stove.  I use the old school perk coffee pot so the smell of freshly brewed coffee permiates the campground.  The second best part is poppin that first beer, normally the second part shortly follows after the first part.

Another early riser here...which is why I enjoy the luxury of being able to have a siesta in the PU.  

I also love it at night just looking at the trees/stars/moon.

Hmmmm  it would have to be campfire time, especially if we're camping with friends & get to hang out.  Otherwise it might be late at night/early in the morning - laying in bed, comfy, listening to nature.
