05 fleetwood utah cassette toilet

Can the cassette toilet on the 2005 Fleetwood Utah be removed?  I tried to remove it but it appears the be permanently afixed on the top rear and i didn't want to force it.

Also, does anyone have suggestions on how to arrange the area where the toilet is located for dry goods?

Is the valve on the toilet closed?  If the valve is open so that "stuff" can go into the tank you can't remove the tank.  The valve has to be closed.  There is also a little flat piece of plastic (yellow) that you have to push down on to remove the tank.
