Hi everyone! We're new to the boards and basically to the world of campers. My husband's parent's have had a pop-up and a travel trailer so we know quite a bit about them but this one is OURS Very Happy

We've only had it open overnight in our driveway but we can't wait to actual do some camping to really get a feel for it. We've even had some SPUT's already!! Folding it up we go to push in the first bed and it won't go in - so after trying it, looking at each other, trying it again, looking underneath the bunk and trying it again we discovered that we had not folded down the galley yet!! Second try, same thing. Then we discover that we haden't stored the door yet!!! Everything else went well after that.

Been reading the boards here and seems like a good bunch here with lots of places to visit. We are in South Texas and have already marked all the places that we can go to that have water/electrical hook-ups.

Our most cherished place though is Garner State Park - been going there every Summer for almost 30 years now (well I've only been for maybe the last 17 but my husband and his family for the 30 and his Father for way more than that)! We just spent a week there mid-June in a tent and came home and bought the pop-up. Wish we would have done it a few weeks earlier now Confused

Hope to get some good advice and just general chit-chat from this board.

OC Campers

Welcome Bryan and Sherry.  PUT is a great place to hang out.  We all have a love of camping in common.   You will make a ton of memories camping with your kids.  My 4 year old goes out to the garage and talks to our popup:D .

Too funny about your 4 yo!!  Our kids are 8 (girl), 5 1/2 (boy), and 2 1/2 (boy).  They all love the outdoors so much and can't wait for our first trip in the PU.
