Guess who we saw at the fair?

Saturday we took our son, DIL and granddaughter to the Ventura Co. Fair.
 
We were planning on taking the train, but as we got to the station, we were told it was 45+ minutes late. So, we decided to drive. But, before I got back to my car, someone said, "I see some Popup Timers." It was Simi Rich's sister and husband-Lisa and Casey. They were going to take the train also.
 
So we both drove and as were were entering the fair, Simi Rich and his family showed up. Wow, small world.
 
While Hannah was getting in line for a kids tractor pull, who should be there but Cottonwooder and her family. All is well with them and they'll be going to the Thousand Trails near Yosemite the same weekend we'll be at Temecula.
 
Then as we were getting ready to leave we ran in to gsmx2. G was not there. He's been back east taking care of his father. Both are well.
 
We saw some scout friends as well. I did my share of eating and everyone was glad to sit in the car and head for home.

WOW how cool...I told you I wanted to go I miss the fair..(lived there the first 20 yrs of my life) but just wasn't in the cards this weekend..

 Hey all, Moose said I should pop in to say hi.  How is everyone?  Hope all is well.  Yup, we see Moose and Moosette and the two Gs each year at the fair, although not all at the same time.  I was particularly glad to see TOS because only a couple of days earlier there was an obit in the local paper for a "Scott Miller". :eek:   Our Scott is alive and well.  
 
 Moose, did you know that's a 50 lb. weight they put back there for the kids to pull?  We figured Karen could handle it since she's used to hauling 2 or 3 friends around the preschool yard.    
 
 She started Kindergarten on Monday while Rebecca started middle school.  It was weird having both of them going to new schools on the same day.  
 
 We still have our 6/03 trailer and still love it.

Good to hear from you!  Played any Booce Ball lately?   Casitas was our one and only game and we are probably going to keep it that way.

I didn't know it weighed that much. Our little Hannah started kindergraten also this month. They keep on growing. Best to you and your family.
