I got the DeWalt cordless drill...987, got the socket genie, got the camper, but I can not get the roof to lift more than about 6 inches.  The drill was smokin'!  I have it on the lowest setting, I greased the cable and pullies, so why won't it lift the roof?  Is it the drill?  Is it the roof?  Why won't it work???

If that is the one you have, make sure it is on the slowest speed, this has the highest torque. If this does not lift your roof I would suspect it either
#1 Cranks harder than heck or
 #2 The drill is defective.
