Hello everyone

We finally retired the Ford Wagon from it's towing duty's.
We purchased a 2002 Chevy Astro Van with All Wheel Drive.
It has everything I was looking for and has only 37000 miles on it.
It came with a Tow Package ,but no hitch, meaning nobody towed with it.
I will install a Hitch within the next 2 weeks and then it's off camping on Labor Day.
Just have to decide where we go.
Looking forward seeing everybody.
Gotta go, cause I want to drive in my (new) van.

See you.

Hey buddy...  I am happy for you and sad at the same time.  :eyecrazy:   I'm happy that you got a new TV, and at the same time sad because you really turned into a towing legend here at COTOC with that Taurus.  From the rear, all you would see was a camper driving itself around because it was bigger than the wagon!  LOL!

And I've got to ask...  what're your plans for the Taurus??  Keeping her as a back-up car, selling her??

Congratulations on the new TV.  The dogs will have more room now.:)

Careful Andy, I can see Rick's eyes lighting up as he thinks about buying another Ford.

Rick just so you don't get any ideas, I will not be towing with my Taurus wagon. That was Andy's special TV.:)

Andy I am camping at RB Winter SP, in PA.  It is near Lewisburg and Mifflinburg, if you are interested in joining us.  It is a pet-free park though.

Hey Guy's

Sorry,I didn't get back to you sooner,it's been a hectic week.
We're keeping the Ford,Helga is using it to go to work, about 1 mile each way, and it runs great, just put new coil springs and struts in the front.
And just in case, it could be the back up car,if needed.
My Mercedes is the one going in to retirement ,as soon as I find a replacement or next April ,when the inspection runs out.
Unfortunately I have to part with it,the rust is getting to it,so it will be time to let go. It has 301000 miles on it and NEVER let me down!
They don't make them like that anymore!
Just picked up a hitch for the Astro Van today and can't wait to see how it tows.

Tracy, wish we could join you but need something with pets.
Well, time to go.

See you.
Andy
