12V Frige Fan location/placement

I am planning to add a 12V to my fridge as I have seen others do.  If have already added a baffle so space is pretty limited now inside the fridge compartment.

I am wondering where the best place is to locate the fan.  Should it be on the top vent blowing out, on the bottom vent blowing in, or somehow blowing air up through the fins?

My concern with blowing up is twofold.  First, I worry that might starve the pilot light of oxygen when on propane and cause it to go out.  Second, the only good space to point the fan up is pretty close to the flue.  I worry that might get too hot and melt my plastic fan shroud.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Travis

Mine is in the top compartment blowing out, the shroud never gets hot enough to melt, you should be OK. Works well too!

You want to put it in the top blowing out.:)

I mounted mine to the baffle (beefier than the original) so it's somewhat in the middle...the idea being that if we were dry camping, it wouldn't block airflow while not running. Seems to work fairly well so far.
