Couldn't get to it, Dave. Had to sign in and give a bunch of personal info, which I don't really want to do.

Larry

Zagami

That's a one-time sign up Larry, and it can be inconvenient.

We'll find another way to get our own press release on this web site.

Pop Up Times Hires Former RV News Editor
RV Business
Tuesday, August 23, 2005

Former RV News Editor Bob Zagami is taking his journalistic skills to Vienna, Va.-based Pop Up Times, a small consumer publication that has been focused to date on folding camping trailer enthusiasts.

According to the latest issue of Pop Up Times, Zagami replaces Dave Newhouse, who will remain the magazine's chief sales agent.

Newhouse states in the issue's opening editorial that he's been looking for someone to take over the editorial reins for quite some time.

RV News recently curtailed its print product as the trade publication was redirected to the Internet. Zagami is a veteran RVer who has been camping with his family for 25 years in a variety of recreational vehicles and currently utilizes a Breckenridge park model at Wild Duck Campground in Scarborough, Me.

"Bob brings the level of professionalism and experience that I'm sure will please our readers, our advertisers and our friends in the camping and RV industry...," states Newhouse. "He was most recently the editor for the well known RV industry trade publication, RV News. Bob joined the RV News staff in 1996 and worked his way up through the ranks from feature writer to associate editor before being named editor of the magazine in 2002.

"Bob is very well respected and connected in the industry," added Newhouse. "He will be keeping you up to date with RV industry trends, manufacturer and supplier news and the latest developments with dealers, campgrounds and exciting new parts and accessories for your RV."

With Zagami's arrival, meanwhile, will come other changes, according to Newhouse. Partly because popup trailers are now outnumbered by several other product types, he reports, Pop Up Times will redirect some of its coverage to light-weight travel trailers, toy haulers and hybrids.
