2006 Fall Rally Pot Luck Dinner 9-23-06

Time to sign up for what you want to bring to the pot luck dinner at the Locust Lake Fall Rally September 23, 2006. Post what you are going to bring and I will add it to the list on this page of the thread.
 
Everyone is to bring their own place settings and drink to the pot luck.

dademt - baby back ribs cooked oriental style

Pencil us in for baby back ribs cooked oriental style.  Hopefully we will stick to that. :p   I will also try to bring some soda up with us.

We're doing some roasting chickens for the pot luck...
 
Dee - the farm stand near my job usually has some cider by now. They also usually have pumpkins by now too. They have nothing so far. We usually buy pumpkins there on our way to the fall rally - if they have some cider I'll bring some for you.
 
Lee - what is cola chicken??  Can't wait to try some!

Coca Cola Chicken


8 boneless, skinless breasts
 
1 can Coke
 
1 1/2 cups ketchup
 
3 garlic cloves minced
 
1 Tbs. onion powder
 
1 Tbs. chili powder
 
Arrange checken in an oiled 12" DO.  MIx together remaining ingredients and spoon over chicken.  Cover and bake using 8-10 briquettes bottom and 14-16 for top for 60-75 minutes  .Baste w/juices every 15 minutes.
