lowering '93 coleman destiny

Hey everybody,

I'm a new owner here. Just picked up a PU and I can't lower it. The manual doesn't clearly show how. Any help would be helpful.

Welcome to PUT.  All you should have to do is crank counter clockwise.  When you first start cranking you need to give the crank a shove.  Any time you stop cranking down to tuck the canvas you just turn the crank clockwise a turn or two lock the roof so that it doesn't keep coming down.  If that doesn't work did you have the door in the ceiling.  You can't lower the roof if the door is still in place.

Thanks for the info, I went back out and just tried a little harder. Know that was how it was supposed to go worked.
