I found a small drip on the sink faucet in the gasket area when conected to city water I tried to snug the screws, it slowed it down but not 100 percent so I removed the faucet assy, dissembled , cleaned it and noticed the gasket cracked. I called my nearest fleetwood dealer and was told they do not offer the gasket but the entire assembly for 56 bucks. My questions... can i install a house hold assy, I understand I will not have the manual pump but could I also install a 12 volt pump/switch/wiring when the city water was not available???

Thanks for any and all info.

Go to you local auto parts store with the gasket, they sell gasket material in sheets (12"x12" ?) that you should be able to cut a new one from.  They would also have a rtv gasket material in a squeeze tube ...read the directions and it work well.

Yes you can install a standard faucet.  Just make sure there is room for the faucet to clear when the galley is folded for travel.:)

Jimmy - I've found that campground water pressures to fluctuate greatly from one place to another. One place there will hardly be water pressure at all and another campground it will be very strong (perhaps the location of the site to the incoming water line). I soon discovered that some of the places I stayed at would cause water leaks because of this high water pressure and I added to my bag of gizzmos and specialty tools a water pressure reducer (or regulator), that will keep the pressure under 55 psi (or is it 60?). Anyway, got mine at the local Wally-Mart, and if I remember correctly, for something like three bucks. But when I pull into a C/G with hook-ups and am setting up, one of the first thing that comes out is the pressure reducer that I attach to the C/G water line and then connect the fresh water hose to it. Ended all these little unexpected water leaks!

Thanks for the info, I've reduced the drip to 1 a min. not good enough. I'm gonna put on my Mr. Fix it hat again and look for a new faucet with a longer neck... seems a little more practical.

I installed a Bar type faucet. Camping World has them but they a cheaper at home depot. You will have to install a water pump as well but it is not a difficult task if you are at all mechanically inclined.
