I am new to this forum.  FINALLY convinced my wife after years of tent camping that we are "mature" enough to get our first pop up. I really enjoy this forum as many of my questions and concerns are being discussed. One thing I haven't figured out is when people make references to "DW, DS, DD" and other abbreviations, I don't know what this means.  Can someone enlighten me?

Kelly

Welcome to PUT (PopUp Times) and congratulations on the new PU (PopUP)!  It's so nice to have new faces around the campfire ~ pull up a chair and prepare to be enlightened  ;)

Best source of information that I know of is Tim5055's website  ~ it's full of great information.  He has a great list of Message Board Shorthand  ~ should get you off to a great start here!

Welcome to PUT.  The D can stand for anything you want...although I think most people here use it for Dear.:D  The H is husband, the W is wife, c is child, etc.  What PU did you get?  I am guessing it is a Star Craft.:)

Thanks for the help. We purchased a new 2005 Starcraft 2409 a few weeks ago.  Slept in it one time in the driveway before putting it in the garage for the winter. At the time, I had a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica to pull it, but as "luck" would have it, my DW's minivan started acting up so I gave her my Pacifica, and went out and bought a 2005 Dodge Durango.  "Better to pull the trailer with," I told her.  "Right," she said.  :)
