Another new owner

I am so excited. We got the Dutchman 747 that I asked about this past week. It was posted on the dealers website and looked nice. Went to see it and was shocked...The vinyl tent was in great shape, the matress and cushions are all in like new condition. It wa so clean you could eat off the floor even in the drawers.

It is a 12' box (which we wanted) and had the storage compartment up front. These were 2 musts. It also has the referidge that runs on LP and electric. It is wired for AC but does not have a unit. We live in mortheastern Ohio and do not see using ac much while camping.

They had it listed for $2550 on the website. We went to the RV show here in Cleveland to look around and had seen it posted on the dealers "used board". They dropped the price to $1800 which kind of scared us. We thought there must have been some thing wrong with it. But when we saw it, we couldn't pass it up.......

Now to start planning the trips. We already have one for fathers day. We are going to Silver Lake Sand Dunes in Michigan. We have to get some more before then though....

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. Congratulations. We have a 2003.5 Fleetwood Mesa with the 12 foot box and front storage. Having that storage is great!

Sounds like a great deal.  The hard part is going to be getting through the rest of the cold weather before you can use it!      Time now to start stocking it with all the camping gear so you're ready to head out the first decent weekend!

Thanks everyone. We already had it up and started packing our camping gear in it. I never realized how little we had. There is a lot of empty space in the cabinets. I am sure they will get filled quickly though...

We already have 2 trips planned now. Only they are in June. They are too late in the season to be the first trips though. April/May is calling...
